First Event of 2010 year / March 20-21

The first  event of the 2010 reenacting year is March 20-21 in Ash Grove, MO.  This event is a non-reenactment First Missouri Infantry Battalion Spring Muster.  As a muster there will be no sutlers and no food vendors.  The Muster is a preparation event for the start of the 2010 year, focusing on unit organization, drill, safety, training of new members in the field, and a chance for vets to knock the dust off.  I encourage all military members, especially new members to make an effort to come to the muster as a preparation for the start of the 2010 event schedule.  We will hold a military members meeting Sat. night at event to discuss any topic before the start of the year.

All new members need to bring camping equipment for themselves to bed down at night.  Feel free to bring whatever you need to be comfortable and we will discuss equipment at muster with each member individually.
